About us
It all started when, after years of expat life, we set anchor in Bremerhaven. We are a small family of three — Jakob from Denmark, Marie-Hélène from Canada and our daughter Freya — with Louie the cat and James the dog completing our crew.
As marine engineers and frequent travelers, we understand the need to feel at home wherever life takes you. When we moved to Bremerhaven, few temporary rentals offered real comfort, family space, and pet-friendly hospitality. That inspired us to create cozy, well- furnished apartments for both short- and long-term stays.
Our aim is to make renting simple, comfortable, and worry-free whether you’re here temporarily for work, transitioning between homes, or attending the local university. We care about creating welcoming spaces, maintaining them with attention, and being there when our tenants need us.
Why choose our furnished accommodations?
In Germany, most rental apartments come unfurnished—often without kitchens. Even for temporary periods, tenants typically purchase and install kitchens and furnishings, then resell everything upon departure. Standard rentals also require tenants to cover portions of building fees, arrange utility contracts, and set up internet service (usually requiring a 2-year minimum commitment).

Marie-Helene and Jakob's accommodation is a real highlight! We stayed with our six-month-old son and nothing was missing. Crib, high chair, baby bathtub, dishes, etc. - everything was there. That was great because we had to bring less with us 😊 We really felt comfortable and will definitely come back 😊
